Here is a simple one I use. My DocumentRoot is based off of the main site's
DocRoot. I simply use a redirect for the index.html. You will need to use
the primary index file like I did, or you will end up in a redirect loop in
Apache. That is if you decide to use this approach. Make sure you have
compiled SqWebMail for the specification/location of you web server.
SqWebMail, as far as I know, and have tested, does not work as your
DocumentRoot. Those are only HTML templates for SqWebMail. Those files in
"../en-us", cannot be interpreted by Apache.
#############
# webmail.mydot.net # - MyDot WebMail (SqWebMail)
#############
<VirtualHost *>
DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache2/www/html
ServerName webmail.mydot.net
Options All
Redirect /index.html http://webmail.mydot.net/cgi-bin/webmail
Alias /images "/usr/local/apache2/www/images"
<Directory "/usr/local/apache2/www/images">
Options Indexes MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
</VirtualHost>
HTH,
Jim
