Look for the option --enable-unicode=utf-8,utf-7,iso-8859-1,....etc Read unicode/charsetlist.txt for a list of available character sets; I don't know what character set your local customers tend to use. To find out, take one of the messages which is not displaying properly, and look for the Content-Type: ....; charset="foo" header. Sqwebmail has a 'display full headers' option you can use to do that. Then make sure sqwebmail is compiled with support for the 'foo' character set. Brian.
