I've been reading the source, but I'm not quite sure which HTML page is the correct one. Perhaps newmsg.html, where there is "</body></html>".
How about the source from within your browser though?
The HTML source in the file 'newmsg.html' doesn't actually include the form controls, because they are built dynamically by the script. The HTML file on disk merely defines the layout of the page, and not much else.
So, try reading the source code from within your browser and seeing what you can find that might be wrong with the submit button that way.
