[...] SQWebmail 3.6.1 [...] I did translate mostly everything to german, this took a lot time, because the html code had heavily changed from version 3.2 heavily. My translation is based on the translation of Sebastian Pfeiffer and Alexander Bruns.
Excellent. I'm glad you spent some time to re-translate it.
At all there is one button that could not be changed, it is the 'Choose' button for uploading attachments. I Think it's hard coded in the source.
I'll take a look at that, and probably try to submit a patch to Sam for you... assuming it's simple enough to change quickly, of course.
P.S. Just as a reminder... If you come up with other feature requests that you didn't initially send me, feel free to pop me an email about them. I'll add them to the list of "under consideration" features.
Oh yes, the feature to easy translate the templates e.g. with an language.inc file. All occurances of text in the html files have to be referenced by values and then replaced through the language file with text.
So only new features have to be translated.
Yes. I have this on my list of future projects. While I know a lot of people would like to see this "yesterday", I decided to tackle it (with Sam's help of course -- if you didn't catch that, Sam, that was a heads up to you ;-) ... but *after* getting a couple of handfuls of these somewhat simpler features taken care of first. That way, if the translation strings take a while to get done properly (which I suspect they just might), then at least it won't unduly delay features that could be done much more quickly.
But I assure you, I won't forget it! -- Too many people have mentioned it for that to be possible. =)
