Yes, that was what I meant.
How about setting up some mailer inside the jail? Postfix as an 
outbount-only mailer is fairly straightforward to set up. There are 
docs on the Postfix site. Nullmailer was designed for the purpose 
(http://untroubled.org/nullmailer/).
