Hi,
A couple of months ago I stumbled thru the process of installing
SqWebmail with qmail. (ver 3.6.0) and got it working.
Now I'm installing it fresh again a second time with version 3.6.2 and
can't
get it to work.
I'm assuming sqwebmail-3.6.2.tar.bz2 does work with qmail. Right?
Could you check my steps. I'm probably missing something.
1. Download sqwebmail-3.6.2.tar.bz2 into the directory called /root
(root user) (link from Inter7 site)
2. cd /root
3. bunzip2 sqwebmail-3.6.2.tar.bz2
4. tar -xf sqwebmail-3.6.2.tar
5. cd sqwebmail-3.6.2.tar
6. ./configure --with-db=gdbm \
--enable-cgibindir=/usr/lib/cgi-bin \
--enable-imagedir=/var/www
7. make configure-check
8. make
9. make check
10.make install-strip
11.make install-configure
12. I manually added a /var/www/cgi-bin/ directory as before to get it
to work.
When I load http://mydomain/cgi-bin/sqwebmail
I get the following error message:
Internal Error
The webmail system is temporarily unavailable. An error occured in
function write: Transport endpoint is not connected
