Hello,

I have a strange problem with Sqwebmail 3.6.x (no such problem with 3.5.x).

I have a Freebsd box - charset=ISO-8859-1 ; lang=it_IT.ISO8859-1 - equipped
with qmail+vpopmail+sqwebmail.

Sqwebmail is accessed through https, mainly with IE6.

With sqwebmail 3.6.x installed from the freebsd ports, some chars in HTML
messages are not displayed correctly (mostly "locale" chars: accented
letters à à à à à ý  ) and are substituted with a blank box.

No problem if I read this message in text-only mode or if I forward or pop
the message. The problem seems to be related only to the way HTML messages
are displayed.

Big strange thing: if save the HTML frame with the message to my desktop and
I reopen it locally.... it display all the chars correctly!!!! (??)

What's up??

Here's the header of the message frame:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

Your browser probably does not support UTF-8.
