Well, if it's a squirrelmail question, then it belongs on the squirrelmail list. But as far as I'm aware, squirrelmail does not use vpopmail at all. squirrelmail talks IMAP to the mailserver, and the mailserver in turn performs the authentication (using vpopmail, or whatever). > From my config, i can see that vchkpw works with bincimap. > But i do not get authenticated when i go via web interface using squirrel > webmail interface. You mean squirrelmail -> bincimap -> vchkpw ? Then either you've entered the wrong username/password in squirrelmail, or bincimap is not authenticating correctly. Use telnet to port 143. But bincimap problems don't belong here either. This is the mailing list for discussing a particular software package called "sqwebmail". It has no connection with squirrelmail, apart from the characters "sq", "e" and "mail". Brian.
