[sqwebmail] References to version 4.1 in 4.0.4/INSTALL

In the sqwebmail-4.0.4 download (I got it from the sourceforge site), the 
INSTALL instructions mention that since version 4.1 sqwebmail daemonizes its 
processes via the sqwebmaild.rc file. How is one supposed to interpret this? 
A documentation bug?
