Okay, I have set-up my mysql database for "id" to be
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ...I can login fine without a problem.

I have set-up my logindomainlist (after reading the manual)...
again no problem with logging-in.

However, my understanding of the README.logindomainlist.HTML
is not sufficient to allow logins by the user without them typing
the "@domain.com: to his/her login text, as suggested...

If you ask me what my logindomainlist entries were, I would be willing to
send
you the entire list of failed attempts but that seems a waste (there were
about 30).

A little more of an explanation and I could probably solve this myself, I
just couldn't
see how it is done by what's in the docs...

Thanks.

I don't think such a version exists; the current version is 4.0.4, and
according to the ChangeLog there was nothing between releases 1.2.5 and 2.0.

Have the users login as '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' rather than 'beau'

First check this works as expected. Then you can set this up using the
'logindomainlist' option, so they don't have to type in the domain
themselves.
The description of the format of this file is in README.logindomainlist.html

Depending on your authentication module you might need to change the
database entries (e.g. if using authmysql then you need
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' rather than 'beau' in the username column)

Brian.
