**disclaimer**: I'm not familiar with ``ims_charging`` module.
The adjustment was introduced at 6f46f87acf7b3772a2bc8902e6e73e0bdc293851 . If
the problem is that OCS can't handle a higher used value than reserved time
value, is this an issue on OCS side?
I don't see the flaw in the ``ims_charging`` logic but, anyhow, you can always
add a module parameter to control that behavior if you think used time should
never be higher than ``ro_session->billed`` time.
