(spelling fix)

It should now be much better.

Subject: [sr-dev] Re: Coredumps with redis, http_async_client over TLS

Hello Mody,

some time ago we had issues in this area after the shift towards openssl 3.x in
the tls module together with other modules running with https.

But this should not be much better.

Just to double check, you set the core parameter tls_thread_mode to 2? You can
also try to update to 6.1.3, just to verify that it was not fixed already.

If you have a core dump, you can create an issue with the backtrace.

Cheers,

Henning

Subject: [sr-dev] Coredumps with redis, http_async_client over TLS

Hi,

We are currently using Kamailio version 6.1.1 with the redis and
http_async_client modules, both of which are configured to run over encrypted
channels.

We have encountered core dumps and identified heap corruption during debugging.
The issue appears to be related to conflicts between ser_free and OpenSSL
context free (SSL_CTX_free).

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this configuration?

Warm Regards,
Darshan
