I have searched in the internet and found that this escape syntax is supported since version 8.1 (released 2005-11-08).
The postgres documentation of version 8.0 describes another syntax and therefore I guess that it was not supported. Conclusion: escape syntax E'' requires postgresql version >=8.1 regards Klaus > > Am 21.06.2010 21:48, schrieb Klaus Feichtinger: > > Hello Klaus, > >> Can you test if this solves your problem?
