Am I wrong? In case you do lookup(location) in a failure route, can you try with latest version of git branch 4.0? Few days ago I fixed an issues that could result in a crash. If not, can you enable one core dump per process and get all the details (log, ngrep, backtrace) for the same crash to be able to compare them?
