Hello, the reason of the crash is a double free, but why it happened is not clear -- if you want to avoid crashing on double free, you can set mem_safety=1 .
4.2 is rather old to start digging into its code with a very limited spare time. Maybe you can try with a newer version and see if you can reproduce.
