Where are you expecting to see a message body? In the scenario you have
described I would not expect to see a message body either.

It may be semi-related but it is not the cause of the subscription timing
out.
Do you see the handset ever try to renew its subscription before the expiry
time? If not, that is where you should be looking.
If you’re able to send a full pcap (privately if necessary) then I’ll be
happy to take a look for you.
