Hello,

useful and non-intrusive change of the log messages (or adding new ones)
is allowed even for stable releases (e.g., to provide more context
details to help troubleshooting, or make them coherent). From this point
of view, personally I see no reason to postpone freezing one week. As we
usually have at least 3 weeks of testing, if the changes to log messages
are done during the next week, there will be at least two weeks
available for testing them.

Anyhow, if there are more people willing to postpone, then is fine.
Otherwise, changing the log messages during freezing time should be ok.
Branching does not happen at the freezing time, but at least two weeks
later, so there should be no overhead with backporting in this
particular case.

Cheers,
Daniel
