*The position we have for a Datawarehouse Archirtect with Infrastructure is open.* *Job Title : Datawarehouse Archirtect with Infrastructure Location : Bensenville, IL Duration : 6 Months Contract*. *Job Requirement: *Experience with high level design and Architecture Initial Project involves Datawarehouse Architecture solutions to support growth and infrastructure and Optimal Solutions Design Requirement, Design for EDW/CRM, Metadata Capacity Mapping, IBM – AIX Environment, Solid Understanding of Unix, Linux (Redhat) Webservices Foundational Background Enterprise Datawarehouse: ORACLE, Business Intelligence, Cognos, Informatica. *Extended Description* ·Plan, design, develop and implement infrastructure technologies including ·Unix / Wintel / Citrix servers, ACDs / PBXs, storage and data archiving systems. ·Provide subject matter expertise around specific technologies. ·Provide project management for the deployment of infrastructure projects. ·Act as primary vendor interface for third-tier support for applications and technologies provided and supported by vendors. *Job Requirements *Role Specific Responsibilities · Identify changes needed in the infrastructure configuration to achieve the technology organization goals · Define aggregate demand data in support of budget plans and make recommendations for ways to improve performance and / reduce costs · Supports the infrastructure strategy reviews and development by performing applicable analysis · Provide project management oversight to infrastructure implementation projects. · Implements technology and infrastructure changes for platforms, performance and scoring. · Analyzes system response and determines tuning recommendations to improve performance. · Manage effective issue identification and resolution process; serve as the focal point for infrastructure-related issue / crisis resolution · Identify opportunities to save costs and more effectively manage assets and escalate the opportunities · Ensure communication of process and procedure changes to key stakeholders · Design an effective test plan for any new / changed infrastructure technology and work with Project Managers, QA / Testing Managers and Release Managers to ensure its implementation before the client takes possession of the system · Support identification and collection of metrics and performance reporting processes · Monitors delivery against SLAs and reports exceptions to management · Participate in process improvement initiatives, when applicable *Work with design requirements* - Design for EDW, Metadata requirements - From requirements, map to capacity, creating a high level design (servers, instance, data mart), scoping out estimates for the design/build/licensing - Need to have a solid understanding of UNIC, LINUX (AIX, RedHat) - Storage Platform (EMC, IBM) - Web Services foundational background -------------------- Thanks & Regards Albert Connell Sr.Technical Recruiter CAT Technology Inc “Committed to Human Excellence through IT” Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
