NYC 6 to 9 months 7 positions DBA ecommerce exp. - Design, development, review, and administer all databases, database jobs, packages, stored procedures, and calling interfaces to support and sustain the reliability, integrity, and scalability of our Client's production and mission-critical e-commerce applications, environments, and infrastructure - Review and recommend database and system-level optimization techniques and procedures - Recommend database approaches and design to engineering staff - Work closely with application development, network engineering, QA, and project management teams - Scope and estimate any functional requirements requiring database interaction - Plan all modifications and rollouts to data tiers. - Monitor and respond to all database jobs and activity - Monitor and respond to all database performance and scalability issues - Plan and implement load-level testing on the data tier - Install SQL Server databases, services, patches, and/or hot fixes - Respond to production and/or mission-critical issues and needs on 24/7 basis - SQL Server 2005 database design and administration within a high volume, transaction-oriented web environment - Experience in SSIS - Experience in SQL Server database clustering - Experience in SQL data modeling and design - Expert knowledge Transact SQL (T SQL) - Good knowledge of relational databases (concepts and constructs) - Knowledge of distributed architecture and design - Thorough knowledge of data backup, recovery, and rollback planning/implementation - Proficiency in SQL Server 2005 optimization, fine-tuning, and scalability techniques - Thorough knowledge of data security issues - Strong knowledge of network architecture and topology -- Regards, Praveen Maxil Technology Solutions Inc Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SRAOSS REKS" group.
