4 months The US GAAP Editor\Author will perform a critical role in the successful creation and launch of a powerful new research resource that will establish R&G as the market leader in IFRS online information and worktools. The Editor\Author will provide the professional insight and expertise necessary to design a cutting-edge customer-oriented product, author market-leading analysis and guidance, and provide expert, rapid response to significant developments in accounting standard-setting. Responsibilities: Author concise, comprehensive plain language restatements and explanations of the standards comprising generally accepted accounting principles as the basis of Reporter service, including IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and SEC rules and regulations Create and integrate special elements including Viewpoints, Cautions, Examples and Illustrations that provide actionable expert insight and opinion for sophisticated users within explanatory material Research, identify, and integrate select content from the range of R&G IFRS and US GAAP compliance content offered on Checkpoint Write concise analysis of emerging developments in US GAAP standard-setting. 3+ years experience technical writing on accounting standards Bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA, JD, or MBA Knowledge of standard-setting process of IASB, FASB, and SEC Strong accounting standard research skills Ability to work well under pressure and under short deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SRAOSS REKS" group.
