Experience with testing Web-based, Client/Server and batch applications. Must have well rounded testing skills with a firm understanding of Functional End to End Testing, System Testing, Batch Processing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression. Experience creating Test Plans and Test Cases based on functional specifications. Strong understanding of QA concepts and methodologies. Strong experience with software development lifecycle phases. Proficiency with HP tools - Quality Center, QTP. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team. Experience working with geographically distributed teams, including offshore. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Mortgage or Financial services industry domain knowledge is a plus. (Home Lending, Originations, Servicing, Defaults, Capitol Markets) Any data conversion testing experience is a plus Ability to write and execute SQL queries and Excel macros is a plus Experience execution of automated test scripts is a plus.
