*Required for Build & Release L3 Support*



•          Run/Schedule Builds & post patches.

•          Troubleshoot Build failures.

•          Triage of build failures.

•          Attends bug scrubs.

•          Independently interacts with QA, PMO & Tech Support.

•          Looks at ways to improve & automate RE processes.

•          Work on the Patch Requests assigned by others under close
supervision.

•          Work according to schedule and Target Dates.

•          Participate and implements group decisions.

•          Technically responsible for the quality and recovery of the
setup on failure

•          Resolve the escalated problems within the accepted
SLAs

•          Periodical update on the project progress to PM



*Profile:*

•          4 - 6 years of Build & Release experience

•          Knowledge on SDLC

•          Advance scripting knowledge in Perl or Shell

•          Release engineering

•          Should have very good understanding of the IT infrastructure area

§        Server hardware

§        OS: Windows, Solaris, etc

§        Networks: LAN

•          L3 level Administration of OS

•          Problem solving skills

•          Good communication (written & oral), presentation skills, quick
learner, self-initiated, team player, willing to travel, open to work in
shifts



*Key skills required: (in the order of priority)*

•          Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) concepts,
release/ build processes.

•          Working knowledge in various Unix OS’s.

•          XML, Perl, Shell scripting knowledge.

•          Conceptual knowledge of Makefiles.

•          Programming knowledge or experience in C and/or Java (optional).

•          Proficient in writing/modifying Makefiles.

•          Understands all the nuances of how patches are built & posted

•          Understands the differences in builds among releases/products.

•          Is a guru in picking up dependencies among deliverables



*IT Infrastructure management @ **Lake forest, IL***



•          Overall 6-8 years of experience in IT service industry with
experience in IT Infrastructure management / Application Services /Data
Center management

•          Knowledge of ITIL/ ISO 20000 processes is  must/ Certification
would be be preferred

•          Good project management and coordination skills with experience
of having worked with cross functional teams or cross geography teams.

•          2-3 years of Project Management experience required working with
large teams

•          Experience of handling project commercials

•          Good documentation skills

•          Good Interpersonal & Communication skills
