AT&T will install ~125 Cisco routers (7604)with attached custom OC48
transport, ~350 switches, ~ 200 WLAN switches and 15 ACE4710 load
balancers. AT&T will manage MRS routers for access to LAN equipment

The position is a Support Engineer.
The SE/TSE will work either within a team of Engineers or on his/her own in
support of Outsourcing Engagements. The SE will follow the direction of
either an assigned B Band Manager or the Lead Systems Architect responsible
for the client.
Candidate will at times work as a TSE who will be responsible for gathering
site specific customer requirements and develop engineering solutions to
support customer driven and infrastructure initiatives utilizing LAN/WAN
Data Network Services. Responsible for the end-to-end design and/or
implementation of the engineering solution and may include LAN/WAN hardware
configuration. The SE/TSE provides first level support in transformation.
The SE/TSE also supports both soft and hard MACD activities. This position
is required to support vendor platforms and technologies that include but
are not limited to the following: Cisco Routers, Switches, ACE Load
balancers, IP Routing ISDN, SNA, ATM, Frame Relay, TDM Multiplexing.
Candidate should have the capabilities to provide leadership for Senior
Technical Associates Levels I and II and Technical Staff Members. Assesses
technical deployment requirements and develops the technical solution;
specifies network components. Prepares network equipment configurations;
creates network overview and site equipment design and specifications;
profiles network applications, connectivity, traffic and performance and
ability requirement Identifies Equipment Configurations: Routers, Switches,
and Multiplexers. Develops technical migration plan and acceptance test
criteria. Implements network components. Supports team members throughout
implementation process. Tests and verifies network functionality.
Provides technical direction to a group of Integration Engineers and
implementers.
Responsible for work activities leading to the delivery of Site
Documentation Packages including assessment and balancing of workload,
identifying and resolving process and technical issues.
