We need, *Business Analyst with Retail, Apparel Experience* 3 months (Start Date July 30th) New York City *DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT*** Send me your profiles to [email protected]* * *Description:* Responsibilities: - assist in facilitating workshops and meetings to define the requirements from the business users and technology support group. - assist in facilitating workshops and meetings to define the processes in the future state in and outside of any tools used. •participate in the recommendations of package technology use, gap analysis between tools capabilities and desired requirements, and resolution of the gaps through process or technology. •document all requirements. •document all processes including interactions with the tools or with other users. •risk identification from process and technology implementation perspective •provide input to organizational change management in the form of assessments of readiness for business to change, impacts to business users, key messages to facilitate understanding for the business users of the changes. Project: The Digital Asset Management (DAM) project is a pilot installation of a hosted third part solution for maintaining and communicating apparel product information electronically. At present there are multiple systems and processes used to maintain these digital assets which creates inefficiencies in the work done by the production, sourcing, marketing, and media teams. The objectives of the project are to address these inefficiencies by: -Aggregating all product information required for sourcing through marketing/merchandising processes. -Allowing merchandisers to provide an assortment of product as they prepare a media event or sales season. -Enabling this assortment information to be easily shared for photography, design, and copy for given media. -Increase the speed of product copy activities *Skills: * •Intermediate to Expert experience (multiple projects full cycle) in implementing digital asset management software packages, North Plains preferred •Intermediate in business analysis – 3-5+ yrs working medium to large projects, worked on multiple projects specifically as a business analyst. •Ability to facilitate requirements and design sessions with all levels of employees - junior through executive VPs •*Experience in retail environment with high level understanding of product development within Apparel*. •Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to speak with all levels of staff, align leadership and users on process and technology requirements. 2. The person needs to have knowledge of the business processes for sourcing apparel product from vendors, apparel design, production of the apparel product, and the marketing process (determining how to market, when, and where in world and the media to go with each marketing event such as photography or shows etc.). The person does not need to be expert in each area but have knowledge of the overall process and the interactions between the different functions. Expert knowledge in one of the area would be plus. 3.
