Identify business rules and transformations for data coming from source systems. Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits to ensure the problem doesn’t occur again. *DESCRIPTION / DELIVERABLES:* · Review, analyze and categorize data pain points · Sample and profile data sources to assess data quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness · Perform data domain analysis on current data sources · Support BICC team to develop data requirements · Work with team to identify source systems for each subject area · Support all phases with research, documentation and validation · Analyze the data using various data quality profiling techniques, · Propose data quality solutions and ensure implementation of solutions based on client DQ Principles · Define a replicable structured and methodological approach to validate the accuracy and completeness of data among various systems · Analyze and document the current state of processes, systems, data flows and capture any gaps · Develop process and technology recommendations to address data quality issues *Successful execution of these tasks includes the following activities:* · Delivering clear written and oral communication with analyst teams, IT, and internal customer teams. · Actively question and challenge customers to understand their requirements and reach optimal requirements. · Documenting communication of projects and time allocations. · Successfully implementing process improvements impacting own work and work of others. · Negotiate customer priorities and workload with many internal customers and team members. · Interact with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within committed time frames * Preferred Qualifications:* · The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience working as an analyst in a data-driven environment · Informatica Data Quality and Data Profiling (IDQ and IDE) proficiency · Knows the concepts and purpose of data profiling and data quality process · Familiar with use of TOAD · Excellent SQL skills required · Strong MS-Access skills · Strong Excel skills · Able to develop scripts · Preferably experience with Healthcare Payer data · Experience with Facets tables *=============================================* Looking forward to hear from you soon.
