Position*: **SAP MM Consultant* Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 08 Months + Rate: $DOE *GC or USC only !!!* *Candidate must have * Summary · This position is both technical and business focused with regard to Enterprise Master Data management and is responsible for leading and supporting data and governance design for Material Master data in SAP. Responsibilities · Form and lead globally and functionally diverse teams to develop and deploy enterprise master data standards and accountabilities · Facilitate consensus and decisions by documenting possible approaches and pros and cons per agreed upon decision criteria · Assist with design, implementation and testing of data solutions that scale and harmonize globally, across SAP and non-SAP systems, as required, and proactively enforce data quality and follow other data best practices · Draft and maintain the data dictionary, related guidance and job aids · Coordinate with business and technical teams to define and document roles and processes related to the management of master data · Design system and tool solutions to support efficient and effective master data creation and management, document in functional specifications, collaborate with technical teams and assist with testing · Draft training content related to master data meaning, usage and create, maintain and stewardship processes · Develop appropriate data quality metrics and strategies and tools to monitor actual data quality and process effectiveness Required Qualifications · Minimum of 4 years experience developing and implementing global data standards and governance plans for large multinational corporations · Experience leading teams to perform complex data cleansing or enrichment activities: defining strategy, accountabilities, driving actions and deliverables and providing regular status reporting · Familiarity with the dimensions of data quality and experience developing corresponding data quality reports and scorecards · Minimum of 6 years SAP ECC material master experience · Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC material master table structure and data dependencies for one or more major process flow: procurement, planning, engineering change management, order management, order fulfillment, warehouse mgmt / logistics, environmental health & safety or trade compliance · Must have one or more of the following: § Advanced knowledge of SAP unit of measure functionality: base unit, alternates, sales units, etc § Experience with design and supporting SAP material types to meet cross-functional requirements (FERT, HAWA, ROH, HALB, HIBE, NLAG, UNBW, etc) § Experience with SAP batch control and serialization and related functionality in QM and WM or EWM § Experience with EWM and master data related to pack levels and handling units that optimize logistics and warehouse processes § Experience with SAP master data and processes related to configurable materials (KMAT) · Experience with material master data management tools such as SAP Data Services, BackOffice Associates (BOA), WinShuttle, Vistex DMR etc. · Intermediate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Visio or equivalent Preferred · SAP deployment experience of a duration spanning 2 or more deployments from data definition and mapping through cutover and hypercare. · Lean or Six Sigma certification · Experience with validated system methodologies Key Skills · Extensive experience leading global teams · Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions *Best Regards,* *Prashant Mishra* Sr. Technical Recruiter Tekshapers Inc. *Contact : 248-565-4747 Ext- 174* *E: **[email protected]* <[email protected]>* | W: **www.tekshapers.com <http://www.tekshapers.com/>* *G-talk: **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Disclaimer: If you are not the intended recipient, please contact the sender by reply e-mail and destroy all copies of the original message.
