IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS Position: *DWH Developer *(with *SAP Data Services* & *Rapid Data Mart*) Duration: *12+ Months Contract* Location: *Bellevue, WA* *General Responsibilities:* Ø Develop components of databases, data schema, data storage, data queries, data transformations, and data warehousing applications. Ø Drive technical direction for small to mid-sized projects. Ø Assess business rules and collaborate internally, and with business owners to understand technical requirements and implement analytical and technical solutions. Ø Provide alternative solutions to a given problem. Ø Contribute to advancing the team's design methodology and quality programming practices. Ø Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur; and consistently follow through on details and drive issues to closure. Ø Write documentation and communicate database design. Ø Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components. Ø Participate in, and provides input to, requirements definition. Ø Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique work of self and others. *Responsibilities* Ø Primary responsibilities include requirement solicitation, assessing business rules; performing source to target data mapping; designing, reviewing, implementing and optimizing ETL processes using SAP Data Services . Ø This role will necessitate knowledge of the Financial data marts (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO) of the Rapid Decisions (RapidMart) product suite; Ø review development and test specifications; Ø performing data analysis; providing development support for existing systems; Ø troubleshooting data and/or system issues; Ø building/extending toolsets; Ø creating/maintaining batch jobs; creating systems documentation; Ø Provide data analysis and identify data related issues , as needed. *Qualifications: * * Experience with at least 3 full life cycle implementations using the Rapid Data Mart or RapidDecisions product suite. * General understanding of Oracle Financial (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO) modules. * Solid experience with SAP DataServices, BusinessObjects , SQLServer, DB2 technologies. * Knowledge of industry best practices for SAP Rapid Data Mart or RapidDecision DataMart implementations. * Strong background in Data Warehousing environment * Database development in an MPP DW environment is a must have with an eye for tuning and performance. * Development background should include experience in Informatica Power center version 8.5.1, but not required. * Ability to read and interpret data schemas, with emphasis on DB2 implementations. * Proven ability to create and maintain online and printed documentation. * Proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues. * Must have strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to drive investigations to completion and ensure customer satisfaction. * Must be flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Work Experience and Education Guidelines:* · MS/BS degree in a computer science field or related discipline. · 10+ years of Solid experience with SAP DataServices toolset and is required. * Experience in large data warehouse implementations is a must. *Core Competencies: * * Strong skills in RapidDecisions product suite and SAP Data Services product suite * Experience with RDBMS, ETL and Business Intelligence Tools. * Excellent organizational, communication and technical skills. * Strong skills in DB2 stored procedures, views, etc. preferred. * Strong experience with Teradata or Netezza also viable. · Ability to create, read, understand, and interpret Data Models. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Experience working in a large data warehouse environment. · Excellent problem solving skills.
