They will perform requirements gathering activities as well as requirements documentation. They will interact with the development teams to address questions and ensure requirements are being met. The BA will also perform testing activities. The types of projects and tasks this person will work on could include web site updates, new web sites, data integration between systems and data requirements for reporting. This position has a broad range of responsibilities including: · Solution delivery · Ensure solution delivery meets business need and expectation through business requirement gathering · Gather and validate business needs to translate into requirements for technical team · Work with technical teams to develop technical requirements and solutions · Work with project manager to provide status updates and resolve scope issues *Support and business continuity * · Be proactive in identifying solutions or opportunities that can help improve business processes · Be point of contact for business focused application questions and be able to identify and leverage resources across IT *Skills Desired: Business Skills * *The candidate must: * · Have 5-7 years prior experience working as a business analyst or related field with marketing groups. · Have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills · Have project management skills · Be process oriented (i.e. change control, requirement gathering, process flow diagramming, testing, etc). · Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Be highly organized and work well under pressure. · Be capable of working on several tasks and projects at once and managing time effectively. · Be able to work independently *Technical Skills * *The candidate must: * · Have a working knowledge of software development lifecycle and documentation · Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans · Have previous experience with the following productivity tools: MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and Visio. *General * *The following skills are highly desired: * · Prior experience working for a business or technical consulting organization · Experience working with marketing departments or pharmaceutical companies This is with our direct client.
