MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXP AS TECH LEAD, LEADING 5 TO 20 DEVELOPERS. * *SCOPE OF SERVICES * The Lead Net Application Developer role is critical to successfully complete the design, development, and deployment of the Career and Technical Education initiative. Given of the complexity of systems deployed in the larger DOE enterprise, each project requires dedicated lead developers to support the development effort. Without dedicated lead developers, projects would take significantly longer because application teams would have to spend additional time developing components and correcting mistakes made by junior developers would lead to significant rework during the testing phase. *Job Overview* Under the supervision of the Application Development Lead, the .NET Application Developer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, installing, enhancing, testing, troubleshooting, integrating and supporting the distributed applications developed in the Microsoft .NET environment. Responsibilities * Develops and implements phases of the computerized system development life cycle, including conceptual design, software development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation enhancements of applications utilizing Visual Studio .Net with SQL Server for data management and Active Directory for identity management, in accordance with Department of Education standards. * Analyze requirements and data access needs and propose file and screen designs.
