*Responsibilities:*

·         Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis,
requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process
descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow
analysis.

·         Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources,
reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details,
abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and
distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

·         Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and
internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements
(Business Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface
designs, logical data models).

·         Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to
establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and
performance needs.

·         Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal
and external customers) and the software development team through which
requirements flow.

·         Identify gaps between system capabilities and business
requirements; and map capabilities to requirements to ensure that business
needs are met

·         Develop business area process models, activity diagrams and use
cases

·         Coordinate the translation of business and user requirements into
test conditions and expected results for user acceptance testing (UAT)

·         Develop and manage data to be utilized for UAT test cases

·         Assist with the development and execution of change management
and training throughout the organization during the Implementation of
system solutions

·         Understand project management and contribute to defining work
plans and keeping track of progress

·         Assist the Information Management / Technology Leaders and the
PMO in coordinating, producing and tracking project deliverables



*Minimum Educational Requirements:*

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management
Information Systems, Business Management or associated field required.
Master Degree preferred.



*Skills / Knowledge Required:*

·         5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

·         Pharmaceutical, Bio-Technology, or Life Science industry
experience

·         Experience working in a GxP validation environment

·         Experience with Regulatory Processes and Systems a plus

·         Experience with Liquent’s InSight software platform or other
Submissions Management systems a plus

·         Exposure to Project Management and Business Process Modeling a
plus

·         Awareness of Business and Enterprise Architecture

·         Strong Customer and Business Relationship Management skills

·         Systems Development Life Cycle (Analysis through Implementation)

·         Business process modeling, visualization, requirements
documentation tools exposure a plus

·         Project experience with COTS and web application requirements,
design, or development
