Please help to fill below requirement:- Role: VMWare Engineer (Infrastructure Engineer) Length: 6-12 months+ location: Charlotte, NC Interview: Phone, then Skype or in person if local Rate: $55/hr on 1099 or C2C all inclusive The Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in defining and executing operational procedures for the installation, configuration and administration of Enterprise Infrastructure hardware and software with primary focus on VMWare, virtual desktop technologies, Active Directory and MS Exchange. You will be implementing a brand new virtual desktop. The Engineer will provide direct technical support for requirements gathering, design, planning, coordination and implementation of releases, upgrades or changes to the client computing environment. *Responsibilities:* · Troubleshooting problems and rapid restoration of service incidents · Build project team relationships · Work closely with internal and external customers and vendors to provide proposals and supporting analysis for operational improvement and ongoing project requirements · Possess an enterprise view of the business environment and the business applications running on the systems being managed, and leverage that knowledge to propose solution enhancements and achieve operation efficiencies · Provide day to day guidance and direction to the administrator and collaborate with core team, project management, security and other cross functional teams to provide the appropriate solution · Installation, technical administration and support of the VMWare VDI infrastructure · Plan, engineer, support and implement the migration of an existing infrastructure to a standardized virtualized environment · Manage Virtual Desktop environment including operations, troubleshooting, upgrading, configuration monitoring, backup, creation of new VM’s, disaster recovery, etc. · Implement and support proactive monitoring and performance of virtualized enterprise systems · Develop, document and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and end user access · Participating in night time/weekend on call rotation and as needed (24x7) during business emergencies · Provide maintenance and management for a hybrid Exchange 2010/2013/Office 365 environment · Provide tier 3 troubleshooting support · Work with the user support team and the operations staff to effectively manage and monitor all systems, including documentation and troubleshooting guides · Create and maintain documentation as required · Manage multiple projects and/or end user issues/support requests *Top 3-5 must have skills:* · Current, enterprise class experience designing and implementing highly available infrastructure solutions using VMWare ESXi and vSphere · Experience with HA and DR strategies across multiple data centers · Understanding of virtualization concepts, such as distributed switches, virtualized storage, snapshots and vMotion · Understanding of storage technologies for virtualized environments · Strong experience implementing IT security best practices and risk remediation in a production environment · Strong working knowledge of current Microsoft products, including Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange and System Center (SCCM/SCOM) *Degree Requirement*: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years technical work experience -- *Please only reply to my official ID [email protected] <[email protected]>* Sam (Saurabh Gaur) Sage Group Consulting Inc.
