Location : San Jose, CA Duration: 6+ Months Job Description : The Platform Enablement Group is seeking a Sr. Systems Architect to lead multiple facets of our development efforts, enhance the Renewal Competency Center (RCC) capabilities, and innovating frameworks and capabilities for our new Business Value Optimization (BVO) offer. The RCC enables our sales teams with compelling benchmark business intelligence related to key CxO priorities to elevate customer conversations. The BVO offer will capitalize on available Cisco analytics capabilities by identifying correlations across multiple offerings ities as well as ties to newly developed infrastructure expense analytics. The creation of these broader analytics for an Enterprise customer, will allow the BVO offering to show value and optimiz ation opportunities across multiple IT and Finance functional areas. The position's primary responsibility is providing technical expertise in multidimensional modeling, ETL, reporting, analytics and optimization using Pentaho BA, Pentaho DI, Javascript/D3, DGLux, R, and other analytics applications, currently in evaluation. This will include collaborating with business, development, and analytical teams to create ETL processes, data marts, dashboards, interactive heat maps, GUI’s and reports; while maintaining compliance with corporate policy, industry standards and guidelines. Primary Duties • Develop and maintain BVO Analytics Platform that conforms to consistent architectures, methodologies, standards and industry best practices • Gather requirements from business units and translate them into technical solutions • Write supporting functional specification and design documents • Develop dashboards, customized reports and score cards, based on business requirements and UI specifications • Participate in report development lifecycle including Requirements, Design, Development, Implement, Testing and Support • Performance tuning ( ETL / DB / SQL queries ) • Analyze data, design and develop complex custom reports and dashboards using in-house reporting platform with little or no supervision • Support the training, conversion, and implementation of business systems. Activities may include training development, training delivery, writing technical and user documentation, conversion and implementation coordination and tasks or other activities required for the success of a project • Gather, analyze and design requirements for data warehouse and other information needs • Participate in testing activities as needed • Test new and existing reports and ETL process as needed Skills & Experience Required: • Must have minimum 5+ years experience in business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing • Must have minimum 2+ years experience on Pentaho BI Suite: Pentaho- Reporting design and implementation • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree • At least 5+ years' experience in the BI *SQL/PL SQL programming • Web Page design using HTML and Javascript *Experienced in software quality assurance and testing • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills The ideal candidate should exhibit the following attributes: • 15+ years of combined industry and consulting experience • Cisco install base knowledge and related systems and database knowledge highly desirable. • Experience developing analytics SQL(Oracle, MySQL), ad hoc database query tools(OBIEE, Pentaho, Tableau), statistical tools (SAS, R), geo-spatial query tools (MapInfo, ESRI) • Experienced track record of successful relationship building and prototype and production deliveries • Experience using architectural modeling tools; process, application, information, business, reverse engineering, UML • Distinctive career history in creative problem solving, issue resolution, and business architecture • Any experience with Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst, and API's will be a huge bonus! • Experience installing, developing, and administering BI technologies (reporting, metadata, OLAP) -- Thanks & Regards, Pavithra Nexera Solutions 289 Route 33 Bldg A Suite 4 Manalapan, NJ 07726 Phone : 732-853-0609 (813) Email : [email protected] URL : www.nexerasolution.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SRAOSS REKS" group.
