Our client is seeking an ETL (Informatica) Developer in Lake Oswego, Oregon
(OR). As an ETL developer, you will be a member of a technical development
team to build and support complex applications using Informatica. The
successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing,
implementing and supporting applications at the direction of the Program
Lead. The candidate will work closely with an ETL Lead for process and
architecture support.
Responsibilities:
Coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting, implementation and
deployment of software using the Informatica tool
Review and Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist
in problem solving and trouble shooting
Work with different application groups and deliver effective solutions
Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents
Develop and execute test plans and cases at the unit testing level.
Support System testing as necessary
Production support and maintenance of applications through warranty
phase
Performance Tuning of Informatica Mappings, processes and load routines
Qualifications:
Work with multiple teams and report to technical leads
Able to work in multiple tracks simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study
8 + years of experience working with large scale applications
5 + years of experience with Informatica tool set with good working
experience in Informatica 861+
Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle and SQL
Data Warehouse / ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and
experience is required
Informatica, SQL, UNIX and Shell Scripting experience is a must. Ab
Initio Preferred
Broad-based cross-functional IT experience in application development
and interface design is essential
Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the
software components to support the same
Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills
Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as
independently
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Healthcare domain knowledge will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Healthcare, Membership and Claims Systems a plus and will
have preference
