commit e593eba2e8fa6f5dbd3ce42db2aab3a19faf14ab diff: https://github.com/bitrig/bitrig/commit/e593eba author: Patrick Wildt <[email protected]> date: Sat Aug 23 18:18:24 2014 +0200 Have partitions start at 2048. Disk geometry can't be trusted anymore, so just start at 1MiB. Then, make sure that there's no other partition already hanging around there. MBR_shrink takes care of this. If there's another partition, try to start at the next power of 2 boundary. To make sure we're not blocking another partition now, call MBR_shrink again. ok natano@ M sbin/fdisk/mbr.c M sbin/fdisk/mbr.h
