escapes LTTE assassination attempt - Boralasgamuwa
An LTTE suicide cadre blew up himself targeting the vehicle convoy
of Minister Maithripala Sirisena at Privena Junction , Boralasgamuwa at 1.15 ,
this afternoon. Police confirmed that the minister is unharmed. One person has
been killed and at least 3 others have been injured in the attack, the sources
added. The injured have been rushed to the Teaching Hospital , Kalubowila
