Warmest greetings to all our readers!You probably have heard and seen via media
the grim scenario brought about by the fury of recent rain that devastated our
nation beyond words. One of the most seriously affected is the District of
Gampaha. In this very District was a very unfortunate Teacher M/s. Amila
Jayamali employed by me, who could not get back home after school because all
the roads leading to her village were thoroughly inundated up to shoulder high.
Finally when she got to her village few days later, she saw the real calamity
and nightmare, her dwelling had been completely destroyed to the ground level
and lost all her personal belonging as well and now dependent on well-wishers
support and help.As a proof of this very sorrowful and pathetic nightmare, I
have attached few photographs as evidence to my claim that this very
unfortunate individual needs your whole hearted support in cash or in kind for
her to start her livelihood again. We
are trying to renovate their house to avoid future disaster of this nature. It
is my personal belief that calamities both bring out the best in us specially
generosity and compassion.On this regard, may I appeal for your HELP, SUPPORT
AND ASSISTANCE to extend your blessings on to this victim in our community?
