If you're not going to reveal any problem symptoms, you're denying
yourself the possibility of getting a quality answer, but most people
complaining about this configuration had failed to rebuild their gcc
after upgrading from Solaris 2.5.

As you'd probably have noticed by reviewing the usenet archive at
dejanews, or similar.
