Hello,
I'm currently using ssh2-0-11 under a bunch of Solaris boxes (Solaris7 and
Solaris 2.5 and 2.6).
I have a problem with X11 forwarding, though. I always log into the
Solaris box with CDE.
When I ssh to a remote host, sometimes the DISPLAY variable of the remote
session is automagically set to something like the.host.where.I.come:10.0,
in which case X11 forwarding properly works.
But sometimes it is set to xxx.yyy.zzz.ttt:0.0 , where xxx.yyy.zzz.ttt is
the IP address of the host I come from. In this case, X11 forwarding does
not work. As a proof, if I did not 'xhost +remote.host' , all X clients on
the remote host cannot connect to my local X server.
The config files are exactly the same throughout all my tests; I just
could not figure out why this was sometimes working, sometimes not.
Could someone please help me?
Thanks in advance!
