Hi,
I have set the sshd_config Syslog Facility to AUTH. Yet nothing appears in
the logs - not even when ssh login attempts completely fail. My auth
facility is set up right, to log to authlog..but nothing appears. Any
ideas ? Even when I set FascistLogging to 'yes' nothing is logged.
Security wise, I'm going to disable both rhosts and rhostsrsa
authentication. Should I disable Password Authentication as fallback ?
Is that wise ? Lazy users [including me probly...] would
then just hit enter instead of entering the PassPhrase and tap in the
password as usual..if for any reason ssh-agent/ssh-add isn't run.
Finally, why when I run sshd in debug (-d) mode does it also quit when I
exit from the ssh session ?
Any pointers, help, guides, words, threats, postcards or
anything is much appreciated,
