Hi,
I've got a new box :-) So I pop in a redhat 6 cd, do a standard install.
I then go download ssh-1.2.26.tar.gz from ftp://sunsite.org.uk/packages/ssh/, and hit:
configure --with-x --enable-warnings
make
and it falls over compiling the login.c program.
[peter@aber-pc ssh-1.2.26]$ make
gcc -pipe -c -I. -I./gmp-2.0.2-ssh-2 -I./zlib-1.0.4 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-DHOST_KEY_FILE=\"/etc/ssh_host_key\" -DHOST_CONFIG_FILE=\"/etc/ssh_config\"
-DSERVER_CONFIG_FILE=\"/etc/sshd_config\" -DSSH_PROGRAM=\"/usr/local/bin/ssh1\"
-DETCDIR=\"/etc\"
-DPIDDIR=\"/var/run\" -DSSH_BINDIR=\"/usr/local/bin\"
-DTIS_MAP_FILE=\"/etc/sshd_tis.map\" -g -O2
-Wall login.c
login.c: In function `record_login':

login.c:454: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once

make: *** [login.o] Error 1
which is a bit of a shame :-(
Could some one please shed some light as to how I may get ssh running?
thanks
peter.
