TTSSH aficionados and masochists may wish to pound on this for a while: TTSSH 1.4.1, the beta version of what will soon be TTSSH 1.5. This is for testing. It may have serious bugs. http://www.zip.com.au/~roca/ttssh141.zip (temporary URL only) Unzip, drop it in on top of the existing DLL and give it a spin. As usual, my window of opportunity to work in a (quasi) free country (currently back in Australia) is small, so the bugs that you don't find in the next few days for me to fix, you'll be stuck with for a long time... I'll be heading back to the land of the oppressed around September 15. FYI, here's the rough blurb. It's mostly a cleanup release but some people may find the challenge/response support useful. -- bug fixes -- port forwarding on command line recognised correctly -- disconnect then reconnect in same session now works (I hope) -- rejected forwarding IP address displays correctly -- local IP addresses recognised correctly on multihomed machines -- starting telnet connection during SSH session works -- others -- TIS (challenge/response) authentication support (e.g. supports SKEY over TIS if your server has the right patches) -- TTSSH log file (LogLevel INI option, /ssh-v) -- Promiscuous forwarding allowed via LocalForwardingIdentityCheck INI file option -- Improved robustness of forwarding in presence of heavy flows (WriteBufferSize INI option) *** not sure about this, it's hard to test at the end of a 33k modem -- TTSSH_DISABLE_RHOSTS no longer needed; TTSSH uses nonprivileged port by default unless RHOSTS authentication is defaulted. This should make people happier w.r.t. firewalls Note, don't bother asking for SSHv2 support, it's not there.
