About ftp !

Hello all:     I install ssh in solaris2.6 and disable telnet service .I can login the computer via ssh, but I can't login via ftp service. and my user and password is no-problem when I login via ssh. e.g: 331 Password required for george. Password: 530 Login incorrect. Login failed. Remote system type is UNIX. Using binary mode to transfer files. ftp>     Please help me! Thank you!
