Sorry for being off topic,
Trying to install linux-mandrake on a box with no cdrom. I have rawrite and have written the bootnet.img to a floppy. I want to install via ftp. When I give the path to the ftp site for the files it connects but gives the message "retrieving base/stage2.img... Unable to retrieve the second stage ramdisk: File not found on server"
I have looked all over the cd, floppy diskette and numerous ftp sites. Where do I find this file stage2.img?

Kudos to those who created ssh! And thanks for responding so promptly Eric
and mtm.
I simply upgraded glibc to version 2.1 and then the .rpm for ssh installed no
problem. It took a while to download the glibc .rpm (~8Mb) with my slow 28.8
Kbps modem, but it worked! I upgraded to RPM 3.0 in the process which may
have helped too.
Thanks for the --nodeps and ldd tip, I will probably use that method at
another point for installing another RedHat package. Now I can connect to
other machines that run sshd. Yay for me!
