Trying to transfer ascii files from Windows F-Secure (2.0 version) to Solaris 7, but both 'scp2' and 'sftp2' are set to binary transfer mode (8-bit vs. 7-bit for ascii). The ascii files get transferred but all contain the ^M characters. Looked at help files and talked with DataFellows tech support, but apparently ascii transfer is not supported in 2.0v. Need help and suggestion on how to transfer ascii files without having to manually remove the ^M characters. TIA, -Ernest
