Hi, A couple folks pointed out that I didn't make this clear on my first email. I have both ssh1 and ssh2 on my firewall. I was able to use ssh2 to do tunnelling from a box behind my firewall to a box beyond my firewall. I am now trying to do the same thing via ssh1(which has tcp wrappers) to a completely different box that is also outside of my firewall and that is running ssh1 as well. And this is where I am getting the error referred to in my original email. Rich
