Hi,

Here is what I would recommend trying. Try to using SSH1 instead and see if it works
fine.
If it does, then most likely your sshd is not working properly and thus is not set up
properly.
SSH1 and SSH2 are not compatible with each other since they are different protocols.

If SSH1 works for you, then remove SSH2 completely and then add it in again on the
client. If this time SSH2 is not
working from your client computer to the Server, then the Server is not configured
properly.
In which case you may want to remove sshd from the Server and add it in again, it's
far less time consuming
then trying to figure out what is wrong with the current setup.

Hello All,

I am have the strangest problem with SSH2 (ssh-2.0.13) on RH 6.1 (2.2.14).
When I try to ssh in to the host in question, I get the following error:

Disconnected; protocol error (Protocol error: packet too long:
-2074875328.).

I can ssh out just fine...

It once worked well... What I have changed since it last worked, is the
Network configuration. I also recompiled the kernel, but it did work after
that.

The strangest thing is that I have a host that is identicle in every way
(except the name and IP, of course).

Write back if you need more info.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
