Kondala Kothoor,

Did you have to copy the key manually to /etc?
When you install SSH(2) for the first time, it calls
ssh-keygen(2) during the process and saves the key
in /etc.

Subject: hostkey

Hi,

I installed ssh2 on AIX, after generating the
key pair using ssh-keygen2 as root, I copied the
private key file in to /etc/ssh2. when I try to
run sshd2 , it says

FATAL: ssh_privkey_read from /etc/ssh2/hostkey failed

Can any one help me with this problem ?

Kondala Kothoor
