What exactly is your problem? Does it fail with configure or when
actually making the stuff? Send the offending line and a few around it.
Makes it a bit easier to debug, don't you think?

On a 9000/898 running 11.00, with the HP ANSI compiler, absolutely no
problems at all. The configure package has enough clue to include
CFLAGS "-Ae -D_HPUX_SOURCE" that are necessary so you don't even have
to remember them yourself. You may choose to include CFLAGS "+DAportable"
to make code that's runnable on all HP PA-RISC processors, but that's
only necessary if you're going to compile on one machine and run on
several others of a different type.
