Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has tried using SSH1 with some external FTP
software. Therefore the FTP session gets forwarded over SSH. The idea is
to prevent the password from going in clear text. Although TTSSH has a
built in FTP, it is not to user friendly since it requires the user to type
in Kermit -s file and it even gets more complicated when sending binary
files from the Server.
Can someone recommend a free FTP client that will work with SSH1 ? Where
can I download it ?
Finally is this considered secure ? I heard that some FTP clients are more
secure then others because they have passive mode capabilities is that true
? If yes can anyone recommend a FTP client for windows with the passive
mode capability ?
