I believe I've successfully installed OpenSSL 0.9.5a (on a Solaris 2.6
system), but when I execute the OpenSSH 2.1.0 configure script, it says:

configure: error: Could not find working SSLeay / OpenSSL libraries,
please install

I've tried using --with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/ssl, but it make no
difference.

Within the OpenSSL FAQ, I see a patch for a similar bug in OpenSSH
1.2.2p1 Does anyone know if the same sort of bug exists in OpenSSH
2.1.0, and if so, whether there's a patch for it?

Any suggestions for resolving this problem? Thank you.
